Meeks Makes Clemson Visit

By Phil Kornblut

DB Jonathan Meeks (6-2 193) of Hargrave Prep, VA and Rock Hill made an unofficial visit to Clemson for the USC game. "It was my first time going to a Clemson game," Meeks said. "They played a good game, especially the defense. I liked that. I talked to coach (Billy) Napier. Their interest is high because their safety is leaving and I'm a mid year guy and have a chance to play right away. I'll probably take an official to Clemson now." Meeks said Napier and USC recruiter Ron Cooper plan to visit him this week. He has taken official visits to North Carolina and NC State and is looking at Clemson, USC, Tennessee and Florida for his other visits. He does not claim a favorite.
