A 19-year-old man told police that his 30-year-old girlfriend hit him, bit him and charged at him with a box cutter during a disturbance Tuesday morning.

The victim said the two had stopped at Palmetto Gas and Food, 201 John B. White Sr. Blvd., about 9:30 a.m. The victim said he was starting to put gas in the woman's car when they got into a discussion about financial problems.
